Design and Performance
The CE 02 is designed to be both lightweight and agile, with a low seat height of 745 mm and a weight of just 142 kg, making it ideal for urban riding. Its minimalist design, inspired by the freedom of skateboarding, is paired with LED lighting, giving it a modern, futuristic look. The Cosmic Black color scheme with granite grey metallic accents enhances its sleek design.
On the performance side, the CE 02 is powered by an electric motor that delivers 11 kW of maximum power, enabling a top speed of 95 km/h. The bike offers a range of 108 kilometers on a full charge, making it perfect for city commutes. With 55 Nm of torque, it accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in just three seconds, providing an energetic riding experience.
The bike features a double-loop steel frame and wide tires on cast aluminum wheels, ensuring a stable and smooth ride. Safety is enhanced by BMW Motorrad’s Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) on the front wheel and Automatic Stability Control (ASC).
Technology and Features
The BMW CE 02 is equipped with a 3.5-inch TFT display that shows riding information, including speed and battery status. Riders can also charge their smartphones via a USB-C port. The model comes with two riding modes—”Flow” for relaxed urban riding and “Surf” for more dynamic experiences.
With this launch, BMW aims to redefine urban mobility in India, offering an eco-friendly yet stylish alternative to traditional motorcycles.
