Bill O’Reilly offered a brutal review of Robert F. Kennedy’s standing in the 2024 presidential race, declaring the independent candidate is “not a factor any longer.”
On his No Spin News, O’Reilly revealed that Kennedy Jr. had previously agreed to join the show, but backed out.
“We’ve never had him on the No Spin News, but we gave him an opportunity and he said yes. Then he backed out. I didn’t care. That was before he threw the bear in Central Park or I don’t know what he’s doing,” O’Reilly said, referring to Kennedy Jr. revealing he was responsible for staging a scene in Central Park with dead bear cub.
O’Reilly accused Kennedy Jr. of fumbling his campaign and said he predicted from the beginning the third party bid would go nowhere.
“I told you from the very beginning that this was going nowhere. I was going to use a soundbite, but I’m tired of being right. I’m exhausted from being correct all the time,” he said.
The former Fox News host praised Kennedy Jr.’s past activism and “tremendous” work in cleaning up the Hudson River, but declared the third party candidate is “done,” especially now that he won’t be on the ballot in New York.
“He’ll be on the ballot in, I don’t know, maybe 20, 25 states,” O’Reilly said. “He’ll get 2% of the vote — equal, taken from [both sides]. It’s not a factor any longer.”
The latest polling from New York Times/Siena college found Kennedy Jr.’s support is continuing to fall ever since President Joe Biden dropped his reelection campaign and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.
