A BIKER has tragically died after a horror crash with a BMW on a busy Scots road on Easter Sunday.
Emergency crews raced to the scene on Queensferry Road in Fife at around 5pm yesterday.
The fatal collision happened at the junction with Aberlour Street in Rosyth.
And it involved a black Suzuki motorcycle and a white BMW motor.
The driver of the motorbike, a 49-year-old man, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the BMW was not injured in the crash.
The road was closed for around six hours to allow collision investigators to conduct inquiries at the scene.
It was reopened again at around 11pm.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
They are urging anyone who may have seen something, or anyone who may know something, to speak with officers.

They are particularly keen to speak with anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area from the time of the crash.
Road Policing Sergeant Scott Kirkpatrick said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died at this very difficult time.
“Our investigation into the crash is ongoing.
“This is a busy road and we are appealing to anyone who has not already spoken to officers and who has any information that could help with our enquiries to please contact us.
“I am also keen to speak to any drivers who have dash-cam footage that may assist.
“Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2363 of 31 March, 2024.”
Elsewhere, a man has died and a teenager is fighting for his life in hospital after a crash just 14 miles away in Edinburgh.
The pair were in a silver Volkswagen Tiguan when it crashed into a wall on Corstrorphine Road last night.
The 29-year-old man driving the car was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Ambulance crews raced the 17-year-old male passenger of the car to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Medics say the teen is currently fighting for life in a critical condition.
