Elvish Yadav, winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, was arrested in a drug case last Friday. He has now been granted bail by the Gurugram Court.
On Saturday, Elvish Yadav was granted bail by the Gurugram police in the YouTuber Sagar Thakur’s assault case. According to news agency ANI, Yadav was produced in court today in connection to an assault case involving content creator Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern. Apart from this case, Elvish was also granted bail in the snake venom case. Earlier, the Bigg Boss OTT winner was sent to 14-day custody.
Coming to Sagar Thakur’s assault case, Elvish was caught beating up Sagar on video, throwing him on the ground and slapping him. After the incident, Sagar went to the police and a complaint was filed against Yadav and others at Sector 53 police station. Elvish initially posted a video online, claiming Sagar orchestrated the incident. Later, he issued an apology video. He also posted a photo with Sagar, captioned ‘Brotherhood at its peak.’
“The court heard the bail application and granted bail in the case. He will have to furnish a bail bond which would be submitted in the court,” said his counsel, Advocate Himanshu Yadav.

Meanwhile, after Yadav was granted bail, he went to his home and shared a selfie. In a separate case, Elvish was arrested by the Noida police on March 17, 2024, for suspected use of snake venom as a recreational drug in parties hosted by Yadav. Later, the same day, he was presented in front of the court and was sent to 14-day judicial custody. A case was filed under the Wildlife Protection Act and IPC sections 120B, 284, and 289, involving criminal conspiracy and negligence endangering human safety and animals. However, he was granted bail on March 22, 2024.
