With anticipation growing around the contestants and host reveal, the makers have finally confirmed the rumours – veteran actor Anil Kapoor will be taking the reins from Salman Khan for Bigg Boss OTT 3.

A new promo released by Jio Cinemas offers a glimpse into the upcoming season, cleverly building intrigue without directly showing Anil Kapoor’s face. The video features glimpses of iconic moments from past seasons, followed by Anil’s signature walk and him taking a seat in the host’s chair.
Fans will instantly recognize his voice and iconic catchphrase “Jhakkas.” However, the promo cleverly adds a twist as Anil remarks, “Bahut ho gaya Jhakaas, karte hai na kuch aur khaas” (loosely translating to “Enough of Jhakaas, let’s do something special”), hinting at a fresh approach for this season.
While a premiere date hasn’t been officially announced by the platform yet, the promo confirms a June launch window. Bigg Boss OTT 2, hosted by Salman Khan, was a resounding success with Elvish Yadav emerging victorious.
Speculation continues to swirl around the contestant list for Bigg Boss OTT 3, with names like Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe, Maxtern, and Chandrika Dixit being tossed around. However, no official confirmations have been made by the makers yet.
