Bigg Boss 14 winner and actress Rubina Dilaik recently opened up about the changes in her career following motherhood noting that she has been approached with roles typically characterised as ‘bhabhi’ (sister-in-law). The actress who is also a mother to two daughters Edhaa and Jeeva openly shared her experiences as she adapts to this new phase of her life.

In her latest podcast episode, Rubina Dilaik and her guest, actor and friend Sharad Kelkar, discussed the challenges of being typecast in the industry. As Sharad praised Rubina for getting back in shape after motherhood, she responded, “Well, now I’m being offered roles as a bhabhi (sister-in-law) (sic).”

Rubina recently celebrated Ganpati at home while her husband Abhinav Shukla and their daughters were in their hometown. Despite her deep longing for their presence, Rubina conducted the Ganpati puja with sincere devotion, keeping the idol for a day and a half before the visarjan. In a recent vlog, she shared how much she missed her family during the celebrations.

Following the visarjan, Rubina quickly traveled to her hometown to reunite with her husband and children after their brief separation. The actress has been skillfully managing her career and family life, embracing her role as a mother while continuing to work.
