Actor Bhumi Pednekar has officially commenced shooting for her highly anticipated new series, Daldal, in which she will be seen taking on the challenging role of a cop.

The actor took to her social media to announce the same with an image giving her fans a glimpse of the first day on set, the caption mentioned: “The past never stays buried for long. Rita’s journey with daldal commences from today.”

The series Daldal promises to be an intense, gripping story, in which Bhumi Pednekar’s character, DCP Rita Ferreira, will embark on an investigation of a series of murders while dealing with her own past and present.
