TV Stars Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa Share Harsh Realities of Industry, Long Working Hours And Health Issues: List of Young TV Actors Who Died of Sudden Heart Attack
TV stars Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa discuss the tough realities of the Hindi Television industry during a recent podcast with Manoj Bajpayee and Prabhu Desai on their YouTube channel ‘LOL’. They mentioned how actors often work long hours, with some even needing IV drips to keep going. Haarsh mentioned how people on set would get very little sleep, sometimes less than 15 hours a day. He said he’s seen directors and creatives getting sick because of lack of sleep. Bharti shared how some female actors would have to work with IV drips because they weren’t allowed to go home until their scenes were filmed.
During the episode, Haarsh said, “I’ve seen directors and creatives suffer heart attacks and health issues due to sleep deprivation. People would drink tea, smoke, eat only set food, and suffer from acidity, but wouldn’t be able to control it.”
They also talked about how the focus on getting the perfect shot sometimes overshadowed the health and safety of the actors. It’s a harsh reality of the industry that they hope will change. Bharti added, “I’ve even seen girls working with drips on daily soaps. They were not allowed to go home as the shot was not telecast by then.” Harsh then also revealed how director one cared about their perfect shot on camera and did not care about the actors going through ‘life and death situation’.
List of Young TV Actors Who Died of Sudden Heart Attack
- Nitesh Pandey died of cardiac arrest. He was last seen in Anupamaa.
- Aditya Singh Rajput died at 32 after falling in the bathroom.
- Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi’s sudden death after collapsing during a workout session left the entire TV Industry shocked. He was on a treadmill when he collapsed suddenly and was rushed the hospital where he was declared dead.

- KK passed away after a heart attack post his musical concert in Nazrul Manch, Kolkata. He was 53.
