It has been reported that the sticker will provide ‘first-hand information’ to the consumer about the vehicle’s safety rating.
The government-backed safety and build quality check entity for vehicles, Bharat Car Assessment Program (NCAP), has launched its official sticker. It will be offered by the manufacturer at the time of delivery, featuring safety ratings achieved by the vehicles during the crash tests.
It has been reported that the sticker will provide ‘first-hand information’ to the consumer about the vehicle’s safety rating. The sticker will be filled with all the Bharat NCAP, displaying the overall performance of cars during the test.

To make it more convenient for the customers to understand the vehicle’s safety, the sticker will also get a QR code. This will allow the customers to get a detailed summary of the crash tests, and help them understand the model’s built quality more.
All About Bharat NCAP
The Bharat NCAP was initiated last year to check the safety ratings of cars in India. Earlier, the top manufacturer used to send their top offerings to the global NCAP to get the crash test report.
5-Star Rated Cars
Now, these tests are performed in the country under Bharar NCAP. Currently, multiple cars have gone through the crash test and received satisfactory ratings from the entity. Few vehicles have already achieved 5-star ratings during the crash test. The list includes Safari, Harrier, and Punch.ev, Nexon.ev and among others
