I have a feeling Dolly Parton would love Beyoncé‘s latest hairstyle. The Cowboy Carter musician just took the “Beyhive” concept literally with the updo, a bouffant French twist with a retro, ’60s vibe.
Bey gave us a full 360-degree look at her platinum blonde twist, which she wore while sightseeing in Japan alongside her husband Jay-Z. Her hair was teased up high at the front for the signature “va va voom” of a bouffant, then gathered into a full, precise roll at the back, a.k.a. the very definition of the perfect French twist.
Two small pieces of hair were pulled out from the updo and softly curled to frame her face, spotlighting the ice blue eye shadow that matched her baby blue suede jacket, shorts, and boots. The sparkly blue is concentrated at the inner section of her eyes, with a glimmer of the same shade brushed under her lower lashline.
