You never really grow out of loving Lego. Unfortunately, these plastic little bricks are expensive. Fortunately they go on sale pretty frequently, and as Lego-lovers ourselves we keep tabs on their prices. We’ve picked our favorite Lego deals out below, including options from several lines, such as Star Wars, Icons, Friends, Minecraft and Super Mario.
LEGO Friends Stephanie’s Sailing Adventure — $30, was $40
Lego Friends is a restyled version of Lego toys marketed toward girls. The mini-figures are more realistic, and they often come with larger, unique pieces. For example, Stephanie’s sailboat has a large flexible sail on it made from a sheet of plastic. If you’re an adult looking for Lego sets from the TV sitcom Friends, note that this is not part of that collection.
LEGO Classic Large Creative Brick Box — $35, was $60
Sometimes you just want a bunch of standard Lego pieces in a variety of colors. This pack is perfect for that. It’s 790 fairly standard pieces that will let you build cars, houses, knickknacks and doo-dads. It comes in a nice box in the shape of a Lego brick, so you can store other random bricks in it too. Face it, if you have small kids, all Lego sets eventually get mixed together in a box like this.
LEGO Icons Wildflower Bouquet — $48, was $60
Lego has done a lot of these flower sets, and they’re a hit. If your partner is a Lego lover and you have an anniversary coming up, a set of Lego flowers might be a bigger hit than real flowers. They’re complicated to set up, which is usually a bonus for Lego fans, and they look good as a centerpiece once they’re done — definitely better than standard fake flowers, at the least.
LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian Helmet — $56, was $70
Lego has done several of these Star Wars helmet kits. They’ve done clones, Luke’s X-Wing helmet, and more. With the recent surprise announcement of a new The Mandalorian and Grogu movie, your love of the silver mercenary is no doubt rekindled. This is a fairly simple kit that makes a nice display once you’ve built it.
LEGO DC The Batman Batcave — $72, was $80
