I spoke to him in Albanian asking where to get my ticket and now he is banning me from the flight.” She went on to describe the incident as a “hate crime,” believing that her Albanian heritage was the reason for the officer’s behavior. “He would not let take his name. He continued to mentally abuse me to make me feel like he was more powerful than he was,” she added.
The singer also criticized the airline staff, mentioning that none of the women even addressed the situation. Rexha later discovered that the officer worked for ATSG, a service company providing document control services hired by the airline. Despite her efforts, she was unable to get the officer’s name.
Rexha’s mother, Bukie Rexha, also took to social media, expressing her concern for her daughter’s safety. She pleaded with the airline to “please make sure @beberexha makes it home safe” and urged Munich airport to investigate the male officer involved, asking them to review their security footage.
