‘Beautifully smooth’ bestselling whisky now has 23% off on Amazon

A smooth whisky available on Amazon has quickly become a favourite in the alcohol section – The Tamnavulin Speyside Single Malt Scotch is usually priced at £32 per bottle, but it’s currently available at a 23% discount, costing just £24.50.

Crafted in the heart of Speyside, Scotland’s most renowned whisky-producing region, the Tamnavulin Speyside Single Malt Scotch undergoes a double-cask process to achieve a rich, smooth and mellow finish. This whisky offers an aromatic blend of apple, toffee, honey and marzipan, with flavours of pear, peaches, pineapple and demerara sugar on the palate. Its sweet, mellow taste and sherry cask finish are attributed to the American oak barrels it is matured in.

With an impressive average rating of 4.7 out of five from 10,684 global ratings, this whisky is clearly a hit among those who’ve placed an order. One satisfied customer shared: ”Well what can I say, never really been a whiskey buff but have always enjoyed a dram. This is beautifully smooth with a sweet hint to it. Love it.”

Another wrote: “I won’t pretend to be a specialist, but I like this. A lot. I prefer mine with less peat, but with a little heat and earthiness/smoke, and this one delivers in that regard. While it mentions ‘apple’, I can’t say I detected that, did I mention I’m not an expert? This is my new daily.”

Another whisky enthusiast remarked: “I liked this single malt, was a nice change from my usual choice. A smooth dram with robust flavour, I expect due to the double cask process. Bottle didn’t last long though!”

A third Amazon fan chimed in with high praise: “This is a beautiful whisky for the money, nothing else comes close on RRP. I like to imagine it as a bit of a cowboy whisky, the type you have in a jacket pocket to keep you warm while out on the plains. Yes, it’s not got the depth or complexity of more expensive whiskies and the finish can be a little harsh to some. At £22 it’s unbeatable.”

However, not all feedback was glowing, as some shoppers found the flavours in the whisky lacking. A disappointed customer shared: “Average is probably the best word for this whisky. I bought it for £20 which is certainly very good value. It has that distinctive Speyside taste. But there is really nothing else about it, nothing to set it apart. It’s pleasant to drink, but highly forgettable.”

A fourth also added: ”I got this for £20 so can’t complain, however, I’ll be keeping it as a mixing whisky, I didn’t enjoy it neat at all.”
