Authentic Brands Group has partnered with Sequence Tulum to create its Barneys New York-branded residences in Tulum, Mexico.
The residences are located in the Luum Zama community and are being operated by LocoLuxury, a luxury hospitality company in Tulum.
There are 10 Barneys New York Residences that range in size from four-bedroom residences to five-bedroom penthouses. Each unit has a distinct color palette and ambience with lavish interiors and expansive windows.

Among the amenities on the properties are an ice bath, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna. Each residence also comes with a dedicated concierge as well as options for a private chef and other personalized experiences.

Authentic Brands finalized a $271 million deal to buy Barneys out of bankruptcy in 2019 and eventually opened a Barneys shop inside the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship in Manhattan. All the Barneys stores in the U.S. were liquidated, but there are currently with 10 licensed stores in Japan, a Barneys men’s store in Greenwich, Conn., a Barneys beauty and fragrance store in South Korea, and the space inside Saks.
