Banti Vadiva, Adivasi Contestant, Quits Rs 1 Crore Question on Bengali Sculptor Chintamoni Kar – Can You Answer the Toughest Question?

Kaun Banega Crorepati’s 16 contestant Banti Vadiva chose to quit when faced with a Rs 1 crore question about the renowned Bengali sculptor, Chintamoni Kar. Do you think you have an answer to this challenging question?

Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16, saw two contestants who reached the Rs 1 crore mark but chose to withdraw one of which was Banti Vadiva. The show was divided into two parts which saw Banti’s roller-coaster ride in the first half. He had already won Rs 25 lakh. The second half, which aired on September 5, featured a tricky question that determined whether Banti would become a crorepati.

KBC 16 contestant Banti Vadiva comes from a family of farmers who started working the land when they were young. Their farm grows a variety of crops like soybeans, wheat, and chana year-round. However, since they only harvest twice a year, they often take on extra work as labourers to make ends meet.

Participating in KBC was a life-changing experience for Banti, as he was the first from his area to do so. His journey to Mumbai, where he stood on one leg in a train compartment, felt like a spiritual challenge he has now overcome. Interestingly despite his TV appearance, Banti doesn’t own a television at home.
