The homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto is all set to launch its much-awaited CNG-powered bike in India. As per the details shared by the brand, the motorcycle will break the cover on July 5 in the presence of the company’s MD Rajiv Bajaj and Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
It has been reported that the vehicle might hit the market under the nameplate Bruzer. However, a confirmation of the name is yet to be announced by the brand. The vehicle is expected to be offered in both petrol and CNG powertrains, allowing the customers to have wider options to choose from.
Here’s List of Expected Elements
Ahead of the official launch, the upcoming CNG-powered bike has been spied during testing, revealing some of the important details and design elements.
It is expected to come with an aggressive style statement, featuring an impressive headlight setup, paired with a decent size cover. It is not confirmed yet whether the unit will fall in the LED category or not.
Suspension Setup and Engine
Despite being fully covered in camouflage, the motorcyle shows a telescopic fork at the front, while the rear is likely to get mono-shock. The leaks also suggested disc brakes at the front, featuring Pulsar NS125-inspired alloy wheels. The bike also gets an elevated handlebar and will offer an inclined single seating arrangement to the passengers.
Powertrain Options
Most of the specifications are under wrap as yet. However, we believe it might use a 125cc engine to offer good performance and mileage. It has been speculated that the company might borrow the unit from the CT 125X and Pulsar 125 range.
To make it suitable for both CNG and petrol, the powerhouse might go under some tweaks.
