Badshah is one of the most loved singers in the industry. Over the years, he has produced superhit songs including Saturday Saturday, Kar Gayi Chull, Garmi, and others. Recently, Badshah opened up about his separation from Jasmine Masih during a conversation with Prakhar Gupta on the latest episode of his podcast Prakhar ke Pravachan, where he revealed that he has no ‘regrets’ about the relationship. He also added that he ‘tried everything’ to save it.
While discussing his separation, Badshah said, “I know for a fact that we both tried everything. We tried our best. We both gave everything we had. We separated because it was not healthy for our child. I get to meet my child, but not as often… as she lives in London.”
Elaborating further, Badshah mentioned that they still maintain a friendly relationship. “She was at my concert. My daughter thinks her daddy is cool, very cool. But she’s not a fan. She listens to Blackpink. As a musician, buying another musician’s merchandise for your own child is a little painful,” he joked.
Badshah also mentioned that when a child is involved in a relationship, priorities shift, and one’s career often takes a backseat, making things more ‘complicated.’ He expressed that he had always wished for a daughter, and his wish came true.
About Badshah and His Relationship
Badshah, whose real name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, was previously married to Jasmine Masih. The couple divorced in 2020. In 2017, they were blessed with a daughter named Jessemy Grace Masih Singh.
Earlier, a report claimed that Badshah was rumoured to be dating Mrunal Thakur, though he indirectly denied the same. Additionally, Badshah is also rumoured to be in a relationship with Pakistani actor Hania Aamir. The duo was seen hanging out with Punjabi singer-rapper Karan Aujla in December last year.
