The movie, starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk witnessed a decrease following its opening Monday. Bad Newz has made close to Rs 40 crore in India thus far, according to Sacnilk.com. On the first day, the movie brought in Rs 8.3 crore; on the second, Rs 10.25 crore; on the third, Rs 11.15 crore; and the fourth, Rs 3.5 crore. Bad Newz took in Rs 3.75 crore nett on Tuesday, day five, and Rs 3.25 according to early estimates on day six in India.  On Wednesday, Bad Newz‘s Hindi occupancy rate was 12.36% overall. Anand Tiwari’s directorial opened in theatres on July 19.

The film earned not even half as much money as it did during the weekend. Bad Newz is produced with an 80 crore rupee budget. It remains to be seen if the film can break even at the box office and turn a profit.
