We’re calling it now: 2024 is the year of the bob. Case in point: The Bear star Ayo Edebiri, who debuted the cutest short style at the Golden Globes.
Edebiri, who won the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Series award at the January 7 show, hit the red carpet in a chin-length blunt bob with subtly flipped-out ends, another major trend we’ve been noticing on our fave celebs so far this year. (Just ask Emma Stone and Christina Aguilera.) Her hair was parted in the center and styled straight, ending just below her chin to really show off that stunning strapless red Prada gown.
Hairstylist Miles Jeffries used Maui Moisture products for Edebiri’s pre-red carpet glam, prepping the hair with a combo of Frizz-Free Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioning Mist and Flexible Hold + Coconut Milk Curl Foam Mousse. “I then went through and smoothed the hair with a flat iron and a 1″ curling iron, being sure to add kicks and bends for a softer sleek look with some movement and a little flip,” Jeffries explained. To finish, he used Lightweight Curls + Flaxseed Edge Control on Edebiri’s hairline, then worked the excess into his palms and applied to the crown of her hair to smooth any flyaways.
