THIRTEEN people including four children have been killed after a trailer carrying a wedding party overturned and crushed guests.
Around 30 people from the Motipura village in Rajasthan were travelling in the tractor trolley, it is understood.
The accident occurred around 9 pm near Piplodi in Rajgarh district, which is 150 km north of Bhopal and barely 2 km from Rajasthan.
13 people including four children died due to being crushed under the trolley, reports the Times of India.
Locals rushed over to help after the horrific incident with the passengers buried underneath the trolley.
A JCB was then called which lifted the trolley so people could be freed.
15 people were injured with two believed to be in critical condition.
Those who suffered injuries were rushed to the district hospital and are receiving urgent treatment.
Rajgarh Collector Harsh Dixit said that the wedding invitees were travelling to the Rajgarh district from Rajasthan.
