Article 370 won’t be restored, says Amit Shah

Mumbai: Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said that even if former prime minister Indira Gandhi comes from heaven, Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir will not be restored.

Even four generations of Rahul Gandhi won’t be able to give reservation to Muslims, he added. “Congress has done appeasement their entire life. Isn’t Kashmir ours? Didn’t Modi do good by removing Article 370?

Congress has now passed a resolution that they want Article 370 back. I want to tell them that even if Indira Gandhi comes down from heaven, she will not be able to bring back Article 370,” Shah said while speaking at a campaign rally in Dhule.

Shah said Kashmir belongs to India and cannot be separated. Shah said the MVA was doing appeasement politics.

“Ulema leaders have met Rahul Gandhi and have demanded Muslim reservation. If Muslims get reservation, then the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC reservation would be cut. I want to tell Rahul that even if your fourth generation comes, no one can give reservation to Muslims,” Shah said.

He also spoke on the Waqf bill saying that the BJP government at the Centre would pass the Waqf Amendment Act.
