On March 25, Arjun Kapoor posted an emotional tribute on his Instagram account, commemorating his mother on the anniversary of her passing.
While many other actors were celebrating Holi 2024, it was not the case with actor Arjun Kapoor. On March 25, the actor took to social media and shared a heartwrenching post dedicating it to his late mother Mona Shourie. It was not the festival which Arjun disliked but the date, especially as it was when he lost his mother to cancer twelve years ago.
Taking to his official Instagram profile, Arjun revealed that he hates this date and the feeling which comes along. The actor wrote an agonising post which was enough to bring tears to anyone’s eyes. The actor wrote, “They say time flies, it doesn’t. It’s been 12 years & still I hate this day. I hate this feeling. I hate the fact that I’m running out of pictures with U, Maa. I hate not being able to say the word Mom or Maa anymore. I hate not seeing Mom flash on my phone. I hate that u were taken away from us.”
The actor further added, “I have no choice but to pretend to be ok, to keep moving forward, to try and make a life, but it will always be incomplete without u. I will always be broken without u. I miss u, I wish u had never left. Things would be different. I would be different. Maybe I would have smiled a lot more and a lot more easily. Smile wherever u are, Maa, ’cause without u around I always find it tough to smile or even live.” Along with the post, he also added a picture of him, his sister, and his mother from back in the days when Arjun and Anshula were kids.
