For Archer fans who thought, after 14 seasons, they’d just seen the series finale, it was revealed Friday night at New York Comic Con 2023 that H. Jon Benjamin’s titular spy is not done yet.
A three-part story titled “Archer: Into the Cold” will air on FX and FXX starting December 17th and available to stream on Hulu the next day.
NYCC attendees were also treated to a lengthy clip from “Archer: Into the Cold” that picks up right where Wednesday’s not-actually-series-finale left off with the United Nations giving all private spy agencies 30 days to shutter their doors for good.
In the clip, Lana orders a new mission while employees are packing up their boxes and preparing to leave. While on the mission, as the team bickers over what to do, our hero finds a creative and surprisingly successful solution. As for how it all ends, we will have to wait until December.
