Anurag Kashyap surprised followers with an Instagram announcement, revealing his intention to charge individuals for meetings or discussions regarding their ideas.
Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has the most unique way of storytelling. From Gangs Of Wasseypur to Sacred Games, the filmmaker has often captivated audiences with movies and series. However, on Saturday, Kashyap seemed a little frustrated when he said that he ‘wasted’ a lot of time helping new faces in the B-town. Kashyap took to his official Instagram and said he will now charge money from those who wish to meet him in person.

Sharing a cautionary message for everyone, Anurag wrote, “I wasted a lot of time trying to help newcomers and mostly ended up with mediocre s**t. So Now onwards I don’t want to waste my time with meeting random people who think they’re creative geniuses. So I will now have rates. If someone wants to meet me

for 10-15 minutes I will charge 1 lac, for half hour 2 lacs and for 1 hour 5 lacs. That’s the rate. I am tired of wasting time meeting people. If you really think you can afford it, call me or stay the f**k away. And all paid in advance.”
He also added, “And I mean it Don’t text or dm or call me Pay, and you will get time. I amnot a charity, and I am tired of people looking for shortcuts.”

Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap is apparently set to make his debut in the Tamil film industry. According to recent reports, the director of Gangs of Wasseypur is set to join forces with Tamil actor and musician GV Prakash for an upcoming film project. Anurag Kashyap has previously ventured into the Tamil film industry, making his acting debut in the 2018 movie, Imaikkaa Nodigal, alongside Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Atharvaa. Kashyap also had a cameo in Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo.
Anurag is a huge fan of Tamil movies and would often take to social media to share his reviews about the recent release. Interestingly, Kashyap gave credits to actor-director Sasikumar’s Subramaniyapuram in his blockbuster movie, Gangs of Wasseypur.
