In a sweet video message that has now gone viral, Ranbir sent a shout-out to Shah Rukh, wishing him the best for his release. In the clip, the actor, who is seen in his winter gear can be heard saying, “Cannot wait to watch Dunki.Love and respect always, sir.” Ranbir ends the clip by blowing a kiss to the camera.
RK is not the only B-town star excited about the release of the film. Aamir Khan also filmed a video wishing both Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani the very best for the film’s release. In the video clip, he says, “Rajkumar Hirani is one of my favourite directors. So, Raju, you have completed 20 years. Congratulations. Your film is about to come, Dunki, on December 21. So, we all are eagerly waiting to see when Shah Rukh and you have come together, and what magic you make. So, wishing you all the very best, and may you always have success. Success will be at your feet because you are running after talent. Lots of love.”
Ranbir and Aamir have both worked with Hirani on blockbuster films. While Aamir made ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’ with the director, Ranbir played Hirani’s lead in the biopic ‘Sanju’.
Dunki, which is slated for a December 21 release, marks Hirani’s first on-screen collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan.
