Ananya Panday is currently busy promoting her upcoming movie ‘CNTRL’ by Vikramaditya Motwane, which will make its OTT premiere on October 4. The actress was recently seen in her OTT debut show ‘Call Me Bae’ backed by Karan Johar. During a recent promotional event, she talked about dealing with heartbreak and how she adopted different coping mechanisms to handle it.
She told Galatta India that after a breakup, she burned photographs of her ex-boyfriend, but now she has learned to handle things with more clarity.She believes that one can only deal with breakups as there isn’t much else to do and nothing is permanent. It will get better eventually, and everyone will figure out new ways.

Meanwhile, filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane reacted to the same question, stating that the only solution is to face it. “Either by talking to someone or burning photographs,” he said, giving a subtle look to Ananya.
Ananya soon added that she doesn’t do that anymore but has done it once. “But I have done it. It’s not like I’m the only person on earth who has done this. A lot of people have. It’s a nice way to release your frustration.” Ananya also mentioned that she relates to Kareena Kapoor’s character Geet from ‘Jab We Met’ in real life.
