If you’re searching for something to put in your diary this winter, to ensure that December offers more than just a countdown to Christmas, there’s nothing quite like a mini cruise to perk things up. There are plenty of places you can get to really quickly for a lovely weekend away, after all.

In the morning a coach will take you to Amsterdam for the day before collecting you to take you home, and you’ll then sleep aboard again to wake up back in Hull, making for a brilliant weekend. Of course, while you’re on the ship you’ll also get to enjoy some fun, including tribute acts to the likes of Kylie Minogue and a range of classic boybands.
This gives you the chance not just to enjoy some festive partying while onboard, but also to check out Amsterdam’s famous museums, canals and sights – even finding a Christmas market to explore. Of course, you could also fly to Amsterdam if desired, and EasyJet has flights to the city from UK airports for as little as £15 each way if you prefer that travel method. Of course, you don’t get the fun of the cruise atmosphere that way, though, and you’d have to pay for accommodation while you’re there.
