The actress, who was earlier promoting Emergency a few weeks ago, made some startling revelations in the interviews about herself, her career, and the film industry. While her movie is yet to release, the actress has now grabbed the headlines for her recent post. Ranaut’s new post is about women-centric cinema. It has come after Alia Bhatt’s Jigra was released in theatres on Friday.
On her Instagram story, Kangana Ranaut wrote something about women-centric cinema that has gone viral on the internet. The Queen star wrote, “When you destory woman-centric films and make sure that they don’t work, they don’t work, even when you make them. Read that again. Thanks.”
The story was shared on the Reddit platform and netizens have shared their reactions to the same. One person believes that the actress is shading producer Karan Johar for Jigra. A user posted, “what is she mad about now?” To this, a Reddit user replied, “I think she is shading Kjo for Jigra, not sure though.”
Further in this entertainment news, another Redditor commented, “If Gunda movie is remade with all genders reversed, will that be a woman centric movie ?? People do appreciate women centric movies like Dirty Picture, Ishqiya, Kahani, 7 Khoon Maaf, Mirch Masala, Mardaani, Queen, Gangubai, Raazi… Make movies better, people will pay for it..”

On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency’s release was delayed as it didn’t receive CBFC certification. The board requested the makers to implement certain changes and cuts in the movie, which the team has agreed to do. So far, there is no release date out. The political drama also marks Kangana’s debut as a director. She portrays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film.
