Alleged OnePlus Ace 3 Pro schematic reveals complete design ahead of launch

  • The alleged OnePlus Ace 3 Pro schematic shows the complete design of the flagship.
  • However, there were reports that the Ace 3 Pro will have a different design compared to the current batch of OnePlus flagships.
  • But the leaked schematic shows the phone looks very similar to the OnePlus Ace 3.
  • We can see flat edges on the front and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter. The volume rocker and power button are on the right, while the alert slider is on the left edge.
  • On the back, you see a round camera module flushed to the left frame similar to other OnePlus flagships. There are four cutouts but only 3 of them could be camera sensors.
  •  The module also shows a pill-shaped LED flash in the top-left corner. 
  • The changes in the design are not very clear to the naked eye but it is possible that there could be some subtle tweaks in the placements.  

Earlier reports claimed the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will feature a metal middle frame and multiple back panel options: leather, a glass back, and a ceramic version. The phone is said to come with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

OnePlus Ace 3 Pro: what do we know so far?

According to leaks, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch OLED 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 4,500nits peak brightness and an in-display fingerprint sensor. This is a slight improvement over the 6.74-inch panel on the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. 

The handset is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset on the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. The chipset will be paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

There is a 6,100mAh battery on the Ace 3 Pro with 100W fast charging support. This is a significant improvement over the 5,000mAh battery on the Ace 2 Pro, which had 150W fast charging speed.

Moving to cameras, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is rumoured to feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. Again, this is a similar setup as the predecessor. We get the same 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and is likely to boot Android 14 OS out of the box. 

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to have a starting price of RMB 3,000 (around Rs 35,300).
