Aldi shoppers are going wild for two new unique sauces that have hit the supermarket’s shelves.
The discount supermarket has exclusively introduced two new flavours from The Sauce Shop – Truffalo Hot Sauce and Burnt Pineapple Sauce, both retailing at £3.49 each.
Food enthusiasts on social media are raving about them, with comments like “everyone needs to try these”. As customers heap praise on the two sauces, Aldi bosses warn they’re likely to fly off the shelves quickly.
A spokesperson for Aldi said: “Perfect for spicing up anything from chicken wings and pizzas to sandwiches and salads, both sauces are made in the UK from entirely natural ingredients.
“The Burnt Pineapple Sauce offers a unique fresh taste that is both fruity and spicy with added subtle smoky notes from the charred pineapple.
“Meanwhile, the Truffalo Hot Sauce offers a premium twist on the beloved best-seller, Buffalo Hot Sauce. A sharp hot sauce, perfectly complimented by the earthy truffle flavours.”
Reacting to Aldi’s Instagram post announcing the new products, one fan dubbed the pineapple-flavoured sauce as “a banger”.
Another chimed in saying, “I bet this is amazing,” while a third added: “Will be running to the shop.” A satisfied customer who had already tried the sauce declared: “This slaps.”
The buffalo flavoured sauce also received its share of love, with one shopper stating “need to get some”, and another insisting it tastes great on sweet potato fries.
“Be fast they are flying off the shelves,” warned Aldi. The new Sauce Shop sauces are now available exclusively at Aldi stores.
