Akshay Kumar turns a year older today. The actor has been a part of the entertainment industry for years. He has delivered some massive hits like Sooryavanshi, Rowdy Rathore, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and many more. However, he has been going through a dull phase with his last few films. At the box office, Akshay Kumar has been struggling to deliver a hit. But it looks like Akshay Kumar is all set to break the jinx by returning to a genre that he excels in. On his birthday, Akshay Kumar has announced the titled of his upcoming horror comedy – Bhooth Bangla.
Akshay Kumar took to his social media account to make the big announcement. He penned a sweet note thanking his fans for showering love on him on his birthday. Then he wrote about his association with Priyadarshan for Bhooth Bangla. He wrote, “I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all.” Along with this, he also shared the first look motion poster. The teaser has Akshay Kumar holding a bowl of milk and a black cat sitting on his shoulder. It ends with Akshay’s creepy yet comedy laugh. It teaser did not confirm the exact date of its release but it has been promised that Bhooth Bangla will hit the theatres sometime in 2025. It is produced by Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films.

In an earlier interview with entertainment news portals, director Priyadarshan shed some light on the horror comedy film with Akshay Kumar. He said that the movie won’t be on the lines of Bhool Bhulaiyaa rather it will be more of fantasy film revolving around Black Magic.
