LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party sources indicated on Wednesday that party chief Akhilesh Yadav was likely to skip the January 22 event in Ayodhya. They added that he might visit the city before or after the ceremony, which was dubbed “BJP’s personal event” by SP MLC Swami Prasad Maurya.
Similarly, a UP Congress delegation of party in-charge Avinash Pande, state unit chief Ajay Rai, PL Punia, Pramod Tiwari and others will visit Ayodhya on January 15 and pray at Ram Lalla Virajman and Hanuman Garhi temples.
RLD sources said they weren’t aware whether party chief Jayant Singh had been invited or not, but indicated he was unlikely to visit Ayodhya on January 22.
