Aishwarya’s acting made headlines not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood. According to reports, she was offered a role in Mr. and Mrs. Smith opposite Brad Pitt. However, the actress declined the role due to her discomfort with the intimate scenes. Later, it was Angelina Jolie who took on the role, and the movie became a huge hit, earning Rs 4,100 crore.

She was also offered the role of Briseis in Troy, which featured Brad Pitt as Achilles. However, Aishwarya was unable to commit to the 6-9 months required for filming due to her prior commitments to Bollywood projects. Brad Pitt later expressed regret for not having had the chance to work with her.

Interestingly, Aishwarya was offered two movies with Will Smith — Hancock and Hitch. She declined due to scheduling conflicts, and the roles eventually went to Charlize Theron and Eva Mendes, respectively.
