With ‘Fly Prior,’ Air India is offering more flexibility for travelers to manage their schedules, making flying within India smoother than ever.
Air India has introduced a new service called ‘Fly Prior’ to give domestic travelers more flexibility.
Now, Air India passengers can switch to an earlier flight, up to 12 hours before their originally scheduled departure, on the same day as their booking.
This option is perfect for those needing to adjust their plans last minute, whether it’s to catch an extra meeting or reach their destination sooner.
The service is available at Air India’s airport ticket counters and check-in desks across India. ‘Fly Prior’ is free for Gold and Platinum members of Air India’s Flying Returns loyalty program, while other passengers can purchase it for a reasonable fee.
The pricing for ‘Fly Prior’ varies by route:
- Rs 2,199 for flights between major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and others.
- Rs 1,499 for flights to or from other destinations in India.
Once opted, passengers will receive instant confirmation for their new flight, and any checked baggage will be immediately processed. Additional services like excess baggage or priority handling will also transfer to the new flight (excluding seat selection and special meal requests).
With this new service, Air India continues to enhance convenience for its customers, making travel smoother and more adaptable to changing plans.
