While Ahan is going great guns in his work life, his personal life seems to be in some turmoil. If rumours are to be believed, Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan and Tania Shroff have parted ways. We have learnt that the couple split about a month-and-a-half back.
Ahan and Tania (a fashion designer and daughter of industrialist parents Jaidev and Romila Shroff) have been seeing each other for over eleven years and as per multiple reports, they were childhood sweethearts, who went to the same school. A close friend of the estranged couple confirms the breakup, “It’s the end of an eleven-year-old relationship. They broke up last month or so. They are currently single and trying to move on.” The reason behind the split is best known to the two.
Last year, there were rumours about Ahan and Tania tying the knot. Back then, the Tadap actor had said in an interview, “I have never tried to hide anything and have been honest about it. If you want your audience to love you when you are performing for them on-screen, you have to be honest to them with your real life as well. The rumours about my marriage don’t bother me. There is no truth to it. There is no wedding. Right now my focus on my career and training for the next few films.”
Ahan and Tania continue to follow each other on Instagram. However, interestingly, Tania has deleted a post which she had posted welcoming cricketer KL Rahul “to the family” right after the latter’s wedding with Athiya Shetty (actress, Ahan’s sister). We tried reaching out to Ahan, but there was no response from the actor till the time of going to press.
Earlier in an interview, Ahan’s father actor Suniel Shetty had called Tania, Ahan’s “first love”.
