However, recently Ameesha Patel made some shocking revelations about director Anil Sharma. She spoke to Bollywood Hungama and said that she and Sunny Deol had a lot of creative discomfort on the sets. She said that they had to make a lot of corrections as the film was being steered in a direction that they were unhappy with.

She added that they both were almost like semi ghost directors on that film. Ameesha further said that there was another hidden agenda that was with director Anil Sharma and he was deviating from making Gadar 2. Her friend Kunal Goomer stepped and hence, the film was brought on the right track or else, Gadar 2 was going to be gutter.
In the same interview, Ameesha spoke about Gadar 3. She said she has no idea if she is a part of the film but she will do the film only on some conditions. She will do the film only if Tara and Sakina’s characters are given enough screen time together as they are the essence of the movie.

She added that Gadar 2 ended with the talks of her on-screen son’s marriage but she would never play a mother-in-law on-screen.
