Aditya Roy Kapur On Personal Life: ‘I Keep Things To Myself’
Talking to the media agency the Ashiqui 2 actor said, “I guess I’ve always been quiet about my personal life. That’s the way I like it. I’ve never really found the need or the urge or the want to have people know all about me and my personal life. So maybe that’s why I keep stuff to myself rather than, you know, put it all out there (sic).”
He further continued, “I feel like, why let it in? Why do I have to spend time processing some rubbish that I don’t need to? It’s not helping me. It’s almost become a sport now where people know that their opinions can be out there and find it necessary to have opinions. They just want to say something about everything (sic).”
Aditya recently shed some light on the belief people have about him, thinking he’s aloof, and he explains this is due to his minimal presence on social media platforms. He recollects an episode where he was a guest on Karan Johar’s television talk show and made it clear that he’s rather uninterested in scrolling through comments about himself. Aditya firmly holds the view that it’s not essential to obsess over each and every perception people may hold about you, acknowledging the reality that some will sing your praises while others critique you.

A new report by ETimes in May confirmed that Aditya and Ananya Panday concluded their romance in March of this year. Insiders close to the once-loved-up pair say that both are striving to forge ahead, ensuring they keep the spark of their friendship alive.
The report claimed, “They broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite well, and the breakup came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on; of course, there’s hurt. She is spending time with her new furry friend. Aditya is also trying to deal with the situation maturely (sic).”
