Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan on Monday morning alleged that ‘people’ from the Enforcement Directorate were at his house to arrest him.
“ED people have just arrived at my house to arrest me,” the Okhla MLA said in a post on X.
His allegations come even as multiple members of his party face charges, with party chief Arvind Kejriwal and leader Satyendar Jain in jail in connection with the the Delhi Excise Policy case. Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was also in jail before being released on bail in early August after 17 months of incarceration.
Khan is under the scanner in a money laundering case regarding financial irregularities pertaining to Delhi Waqf Board.
