The movie’s Malayalam (original) version scored a 79.92 percent occupancy rating on March 31. Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life brought in an estimated Rs 8.50 Cr on Sunday, capping its first weekend’s earnings at Rs 30.10 crore according to Sacnilk.com. While Kerala has reportedly had the highest occupancy, other cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, and Mumbai have all reported high occupancy rates.

About Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Film Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life:
The film, which is helmed by Blessy, the recipient of a National Award, stars Jimmy Jean-Louis, a Haitian-French actor, as well as Arab actors Talib al Balushi and RikAby, Amala Paul, and KR Gokul. The film is based on Benyamin’s 2008 novel Aadujeevitham, which recounts the actual experience of Najeeb, a Keralan who moved to the Gulf in search of employment in the early 1990s.
Prithviraj Sukumaran plays Najeeb, a Kerala migrant labourer who finds himself obliged to work as a goat herder on a remote Saudi Arabian farm in Aadujeevitham. In addition to Prithviraj, Jimmy Jean-Louis, KR Gokul, Talib Al Balushi, Amala Paul, and Shobha Mohan play pivotal roles in the movie.
