A drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles, or vice versa, usually includes a pit stop at some famed eatery or fast food option. The In-N-Out in Kettleman City is popular if you take Interstate 5, as it is smack in the middle of the two metropolises. But those who prefer to take California state Route 99, nicknamed the “Golden State Highway,” will soon have their own In-N-Out to order double-doubles, animal style fries and shakes.
In-N-Out is opening a new location on Jan. 12, just northwest of Fresno, in the town of Madera, California, according to the Fresno Bee. This new outpost, located near the Madera Marketplace, will have indoor seating for 84 people, a covered patio that seats 26 and one drive-thru lane, the outlet reported.
This strategic site is also on the way to Yosemite National Park and the Sierra National Forest, if you take Highway 145 to 41. Now, the legendary burger joint will only be about an hour away from hungry, carbo-loading hikers heading to and from Yosemite.
