Finally, Avinash Kamath sets out on the last leg of his extraction mission. Will The Freelancer be able to save Aliya? The series is based on the book “A Ticket to Syria” by Shirish Thorat, directed by Bhav Dhulia, produced by Friday Storytellers, created by showrunner Neeraj Pandey, directed by Bhav Dhulia and produced by Shital Bhatia. Set to release on December 15, 2023, on Disney+ Hotstar, The Freelancer: The Conclusion stars Mohit Raina and veteran actor Anupam Kher along with Kashmira Pardeshi. The series also features talented actors like Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Gauri Balaji and Navneet Malik, Manjiri Faddnis, and Sarah Jane Dias amongst others.

In The Freelancer, we see a sneak peek into Avinash Kamath and Inayat Khan’s friendships during their cop days and we can’t help but wonder how was their bond before the problems started to begin. Sushant Singh who portrays the role of Inayat Khan opens up how a prequel could reveal the colorful friendship they share.
Talking about the same, Sushant Singh says, “There was a sneak peek of my friendship with Avinash’s character. And yes, a prequel is a very interesting idea, because I think they’re both rather colourful characters, especially Avinash and their relationship and friendship are even more colourful. So it’s always interesting to see two cops who can go rogue at times to serve justice.”
