A Very Very Strong Racing Overload
– IBW 2024 comprises of two different FMSCI sanctioned events aimed at promoting basic racing events:
– Hill Climb (in association with Reise Moto)
– Flat Track Race (together with Harley Davidson)
These events have registration for Hill Climb at Rs 1000 and Flat Track at Rs 1250, including a free FMSCI Racing License. Riders will vie against each other for the winner’s prize pool of Rs 12 lacs. Flat Track Race is open for 81 entries only and will be closed when full.
Also available are the Gulf Syntrac Tiivra Action Games and the IBW Dirt Dash fun challenges that additional racing activities will complement. Meet Xavier Simeon, a KYT rider, and a former MotoGP racer, who will discuss his racing journey at the event.
Exciting Launches and Performances
Motorcycle brands like Hero MotoCorp, KTM, Brixton, and Reise will showcase new products and experiences. The festival’s entertainment lineup features performances by artists such as Divine, Brodha V, and OAFF, while the Gulf Syntrac Moto Mayhem FMX Show will wow audiences with an international stunt showcase, including a first-ever double jump.
Honoring a Decade of Biking Culture
In celebration of 10 years, IBW invites riding clubs and groups to share their unique biking journeys. The most inspiring story will win a customized Harley-Davidson Street Bob, specially crafted by Bombay Custom Works for the occasion.
The Big Trip Tent: Stories of Adventure
Motorcycling legends from around the world and India will share their experiences, including:
Elspeth Beard, the first British woman to ride around the world
Marc Travels, an adventure blogger and explorer
Indian riders like Meenakshi Das, who has traveled to 67 countries
The new Big Trip Expo will guide attendees on achieving their international travel goals, covering permits, documentation, and trip planning essentials.
Safety and Awareness Initiatives
Safety is a key focus this year, with workshops led by experts like Jaswin Bose, who promotes responsible riding, and Nikhil Sood, an off-road specialist offering tips for trail riding. Outreach programs in colleges aim to inspire young riders to prioritize safety while exploring the joys of motorcycling.
Star Appearances and Unique Exhibits
Actors and motorcycle enthusiasts such as Amit Sadh, Anil Charanjeett, and Anand Kale will share their riding stories. The festival will also feature moto art, vintage collections, and meet-ups with popular moto-vloggers like Anurag Salgaonkar, who will share his journey with the biking community.
