The Irish-born MMA fighter makes his debut in the entertainment industry in Patrick Swayze’s 1989 classic Road House. Based on media reports Conor was reportedly paid a whopping $6 million – $10 million (approximately Rs 49 crore – Rs 83 crore) for this film.
Conor McGregor is an elite boxer and a Mixed Martial Artist by profession. The UFC champion made his debut in the film Road House released in 2024 (now available on Amazon Prime Video). The film also features Jake Gyllenhaal and Daniela Melchior in pivotal roles.

While promoting his debut film Road House McGregor confirmed that Conon McGregor reportedly received a hefty paycheck in the history of the entertainment industry while talking to The Sun. In a deleted post on X, McGregor openly claimed that the UFC champion is now the highest-paid actor. Conor penned, “I am now officially the highest-paid first-time actor of all time, on record, pipping Dwayne Johnson for the top spot. Incredible! (sic).”
On the other hand, this record was previously held by WWE wrestler Dwyane Johnson. He received a staggering amount of Rs 45 crore for the film The Mummy Returns released in 2001. Talking about the same, to an international media Conor replied, “That’s the fact, the highest-paid first-time actor of all time so it’s a nice feather in the cap. There’s not an action star in Hollywood that could take me on and that’s a fact, so let’s see how it goes (sic).”
