Siddharth compared it to political rallies, alleging that crowds gather only when free biryani and alcohol are distributed.
Ever since Pushpa 2: The Rule hit the big screens, Allu Arjun has been the center of attention. Recently, actor Siddharth stirred controversy by taking a jibe at the film, remarking that “there’s no connection between gathering a large crowd and quality.” In response, singer Mika Singh mocked Siddharth’s comments, escalating the debate further.
What Was the Matter?
Siddharth referred to the massive turnout of fans at the trailer launch event for Pushpa 2 in Patna, where thousands gathered to see Allu Arjun. Taking a dig at the event, Siddharth compared it to political rallies, alleging that crowds gather only when free biryani and alcohol are distributed. He said, “In India, there’s no connection between gathering a large crowd and quality. If that was the case, then all the political parties would be winning. In our days, these crowds used to be about getting biryani and a quarter packet (alcohol).”
Mika Singh’s Response
Mika Singh found Siddharth’s comment distasteful and didn’t hold back. The singer took to Instagram to share his thoughts. In his story, Mika wrote, “Hello Siddharth bhai, aapke iss comment pe ek baat achhi ho gayi hai ke, ke aaj se logo ko thoda bohot aapka naam pata chal gaya hai. Socho abhi tak tau mujhe bhi nahi pata ki aap kya karte hain. (Hello Siddharth, one good thing to come out of your comment is that from today, people will know your name a little bit. Just think, even I didn’t know what you do until now).”
Pushpa 2’s Record-Breaking Run
