IPS Navjot Simi and IAS Tushar Singla are among the most talked-about officers on social media. They have shared stunning wedding photos, along with glimpses of their foreign trips and precious moments with their child. Their love story and wedding journey have captured many hearts, and this engineer-doctor couple continues to receive widespread admiration from the public.
As per the News18 Hindi report, IAS Tushar Singla is senior to IPS Navjot Simi, and their initial interaction wasn’t formal or official. When Tushar learned that Navjot Simi, from Gurdaspur, Punjab, had been selected for the IPS, he began to casually get to know her. What started as a simple acquaintance evolved into a strong friendship, which eventually blossomed into love. They later got married, giving their relationship a meaningful name.
Navjot Simi, an IPS officer from the Bihar cadre, and Tushar Singla, an IAS officer from the West Bengal cadre, reportedly first crossed paths at a restaurant in Patna. In an interview, IPS Navjot Simi revealed some details of their love story. During dinner at a restaurant in Patna, between soup and the main course, they made the decision to spend their lives together. Both of them have a clear understanding of each other’s priorities and the responsibilities that come with their prestigious government jobs.
Due to their busy schedules, IAS Tushar Singla and IPS Navjot Simi struggled to find time for their wedding. However, on February 14, 2020, Valentine’s Day, Navjot Simi visited Tushar Singla’s office in West Bengal. Surrounded by a few close friends, they held a registered marriage right at the office. Later, they also tied the knot in a temple. IPS Navjot Simi shared their wedding photos on social media.
Dr. Navjot Simi, an IPS officer from Gurudaspur, Punjab, completed her BDS degree from Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College and Hospital and Research Center. Despite her qualifications in dentistry, she felt unfulfilled in the medical field and decided to pursue the UPSC exam. Although she did not succeed in her first attempt in 2016, she came back strong and cleared the exam in 2017, securing an impressive rank of 735 to become an IPS officer. After returning from maternity leave, she is now awaiting her next posting.
