Ananya Panday recently won the Filmfare OTT Award for her performance in the Netflix film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Suhana Khan, her friend and actor, was among the first to celebrate her win. The Archies star shared a picture of Ananya joyfully holding the iconic Black Lady trophy, captioning it, “Best friend & best actress.” Ananya reposted the story on Instagram, replying with, “Bestie girl.”

Ananya Panday’s win at the Filmfare OTT Awards was celebrated with warm wishes from her mother Bhavana Pandey, rumoured boyfriend Walker Blanco, friend Navya Nanda, and casting director Shanoo Sharma. She also shared photos from the award ceremony, including one with the film’s director, Arjun Varain Singh. Ananya received the Best Actress (Films) – Critics’ Choice award for her performance in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
In her acceptance speech, Ananya expressed gratitude to the film’s cast and crew. The movie, co-produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, premiered on Netflix India last December and has since garnered critical acclaim.
On the work front, Ananya Panday will soon star alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan in an upcoming project. She was last seen in CTRL, which is currently streaming on Netflix. Meanwhile, Suhana Khan is preparing for a major cinematic milestone with her role in King, where she will star with her father, Shah Rukh Khan. The film reportedly delves into the life of a morally complex don, played by SRK, and his relationship with a young mentee, portrayed by Suhana. Abhishek Bachchan will play the antagonist, while Abhay Verma will take on a pivotal character.
Production for King is set to begin in January, with Budapest selected as the filming location due to its cold, moody atmosphere, which complements the film’s tone. The pre-production is in full swing, with dialogues penned by Abbas Tyrewala, known for War 2, and a musical score being composed by the renowned Anirudh Ravichander, who has already started working on the project.
