With his biggest blockbuster in 2024, this actor has now topped the list of India’s most popular male film stars.
South superstar Prabhas has surpassed Bollywood King Khan and Dabangg Salman Khan to win the title of the most popular actor. Riding high on the success of Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas has now topped the list of India’s most popular male film stars.
On Wednesday, Ormax unveiled its “Ormax Stars India Loves: Most Popular Male Film Stars in India (Oct 2024)” list, with Prabhas ranking number one in the list. Actor Vijay earned the second spot.
Shah Rukh Khan, who recently made a grand comeback on the big screen, secured the third spot in the list, followed by Jr NTR and Ajith Kumar in fourth and fifth position.
Allu Arjun, who will be soon seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, ranks sixth on the list, with Mahesh Babu at the seventh, Suriya at the eighth and Ram Charan at the 9th position. Salman Khan who hasn’t had any release since 2023, is at the tenth spot on the list.
The list was formerly shared on X. Prabhas’s fans celebrated his achievement and flooded the comment box with congratulatory messages and appreciation.
Meanwhile, Prabhas will next be seen in Salaar Part 2- Shouryanga Parvam. Apart from Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan and Sriya Reddy will also reprise their roles from the first film. He has also films like The Raja Saab, Spirit, Fauji and the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD in his pipeline. Also, he has signed a three-picture contract with Hombale Film. The production house has announced that they will produce his upcoming film Salaar Part 2 -Shouryanga Parvam.
