Suriya’s highly anticipated historical thriller is set to release worldwide on November 14. The film got a great decent head start in the southern states, opening the advance collection of Kanguva. Check detailed report.
Kanguva, the most-awaited film of South superstar Suriya has earned a significant amount through ticket sales in millions. According to reports, the film has sold 51,978 tickets so far, earning Rs 92.67 lakh from the Tamil version alone. When blocked seats are included, the total earnings have reached approximately Rs 2.31 crore, as reported by Sacnilk. Check out the Kanguva advance booking collection below.
Kanguva advance booking collection: earnings from various states
The film has earned large sums from different states. In Andhra Pradesh, it earned Rs 20.23 lakh. In Karnataka, the earnings were Rs 13.96 lakh. Tamil Nadu saw Rs 39.08 lakh in earnings, with blocked seats adding Rs 69.58 lakh. In Bengaluru, the film earned Rs 9.63 lakh, and Rs 47.77 lakh from blocked seats. Chennai earned Rs 5.28 lakh. In Coimbatore, the earnings were Rs 6.52 lakh. While Visakhapatnam earned Rs 2.04 lakh.

Kanguva is preparing for a release on over 10,000 screens worldwide. Producer G. Dhananjayan of Studio Green recently announced in a press conference that they are “extremely excited” about the film’s release. In Tamil Nadu alone, over 700 screens have been confirmed. The film will be released on more than 2,500 screens in South India and 3,000–3,500 screens in North India.
Release in 2D and 3D
Kanguva will be released in both 2D and 3D formats. In this film, Suriya will be seen in a double role, portraying both Kanguva and Francis Theodore. The star-studded cast also includes Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Anand Raj.
