Kartik Aaryan’s latest film, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘, has made a significant impact at the box office, raking in over Rs 200 crore globally within just five days of its release during the Diwali festivities. In a nostalgic throwback, Shilpa Shetty on the dance show “Super Dancer Chapter 3”, once gave Kartik a memorable compliment during the promotions for his film ‘Luka Chuppi’.
While seated next to her, she remarked that Kartik reminded her of a younger Akshay Kumar, specifically referencing Akshay’s charm from 15 years ago. She said, “KA reminds me of AK. Haa matlab the younger Akshay Kumar. Pandhra saal pehle waala Akshay Kumar.”
This comparison left Kartik blushing, and Kriti Sanon, who was also present, shared that it was indeed a huge compliment. As a big fan of Akshay Kumar, Kartik appreciated the comparison and acknowledged its significance.

The film released on November 1, 2024, stars Kartik Aaryan as Ruhan “Rooh Baba” Randhawa, alongside Vidya Balan reprising her role as Manjulika, and features Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri in the key roles.
The film is about Ruhan, a con artist posing as a ghostbuster who is called to a palace in Rakht Ghat to deal with the haunting.
