52′ Manchester United 4-2 Leicester
That’s pretty disappointing.
Soumare, who has made a few neat forward passes, fizzes it in to the feet of Jordan Ayew, who turns smartly in midfield away from his marker and drives forward in a four-on-three.
He plays it out left to Kasey McAteer, who dribbles infield but overruns it and Ugarte clears. Leicester retain the ball on the left but Ugarte goes down dramatically and in stages holding his face.
Ref Andy Madley thinks about it then a few seconds later gives the free-kick for a ‘head injury’. Literally as soon as he gives it, Ugarte suddenly sits up and is OK to play on. He touches his face again, unconvincingly, as if to suggest he was struck there.
Replays show McAteer made a normal, accidental collision with him and Ugarte just bought the foul by flopping over. Not exactly ‘Manchester United midfield enforcer’ material. Wonder what Roy Keane would think of that.
